first_imgOne man was arrested Friday night after two rocks were thrown through a bedroom window at Vancouver Fire Department’s Station 6, said VFD Capt. Kevin Murray.Murray said the crew on duty at the station, 3216 N.E. 112th Ave., heard a loud crash and discovered that two rocks – one the size of a softball – had been thrown through a window in one of the station’s bedrooms. One of the rocks broke wallboard and landed on an empty bed.Firefighters saw someone walking away from the station and followed him from a safe distance until police arrived and took him into custody.Vancouver Police Sgt. Mike Davis said the man was arrested on a felony charge; damage was estimated at more than $750. The person’s name was not available Saturday.last_img read more
